2 Kings 4:21

This was in a little devotional book called "Springs in the Valley" by Mrs. Charles E. Cowman. I thought it was neat.

And she went up, and laid him on the bed of the man of God, and shut the door upon him, and went out.
2 Kings 4:21

This poor bereaved mother was laying her burden on the Lord and leaving it there. That is one of the most difficult things to do: to leave our burdens with the Lord after we have placed them there…. In every burden, trial, or care, which we thus fully leave with God, and for which we fully trust Him, He will work above all we ask or think.

New Arrivals!

One of our many cats had three kittens. She’s the one who always has the same color every time she has kittens! White kittens w/ a black or gray smudge on their heads gets pretty old. This litter brings our cat population up to fifteen and we still have two more cats that might be pregnant—they’re really fat anyways!

Southern Gospel Concert

We were at a Ernie Haase & Signature Sound concert last night. Before I saw them I wasn't sure what Gospel Quartet I liked best. Now I know that Signature Sound is my very favorite!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

We took this pic of my bunnies a couple days ago. I wasn’t able to put it up here before because the computer was acting up. Aren’t they cute! I love bunnies when they are this age! And BTW if you want any of them let me know, they’ll be ready in two or three weeks.

Quote of the Day

If your only option in choosing a friend is between a foolish person who is
humble and a bright person who is arrogant, choose the fool. Folly may indeed be
harmful, but arrogance is lethal. — Maalos Hamidos

I Need Some Help

I have my own blog now,
But I don’t know what to write.
It really is boring,
When there is not a post in site.
That’s why I need your ideas,
So I can figure out
How to make this interesting
Without making you pout.

I Have a Blog!

It’s been two days since Britt put this blog up for me. I made the mistake of telling her that Andrea Herrlinger told me that I should start a blog. I was just saying it as a joke, you know could you just see me (Hannah Otterson) having a blog!? Well that got Brittney going! She’s like “Yeah! That’s a good idea! I am going to put one up for you!” And before I knew it I had a blog!
I didn’t want to have it because I knew I wouldn’t know what to write on it. Well that is precisely what happened. I don’t know what to write! Maybe you can give me a couple pointers.
