Now Thank We All Our God

Now thank we all our God
With heart and hands and voices,
Who wondrous things hath done,
In whom His world rejoices;
Who, from our mothers' arms,
Hath blessed us on our way
With countless gifts of love,
And still is ours today.

O may this bounteous God
Though all our life be near us,
With ever joyful hearts
And blessed peace to cheer us;
And keep us in His grace,
And guide us when perplexed,
And free us from all ills
In this world and the next.

All praise and thanks to God
The Father now be given,
the Son, and Him who reigns
With them in highest heaven,
Then one eternal God,
Whom earth and heaven adore;
For thus it was, is now,
And shall be ever more.

Snow

On Monday morning we woke up to a winter wonderland. It was gone by Tuesday but we enjoyed it for a day.

We got about 3 inches; just enough for the kids to attempt sledding down the hill out back (they managed to get a few trips down before they rubbed all the snow away). Sorry I don't have a picture of that :( .

Cessna (the cat,) enjoyed the kerosene heater's warmth that day. She really isn't supposed to be in the house, but she manages to get in everyday.

Levi, didn't want a picture taken but he got one anyway. He tried to throw a snowball at me but I managed to escape it--somehow.

Just some other pictures I took of the snow that day.

They're Here!

Finally! After waiting several weeks, we managed to fit going down and picking the goats up into our busy Saturday afternoon. Yeah, it was that long ago and I never got around to posting till now :(.

Peaches and Cream; that's their names, are so sweet and friendly. Right after we got them, if I would go into their pen and then leave after a little while, they would go nuts, maybe they were thinking I wasn't going to come back or something! :) But now they are settling into their new life. And I'm finding out how much time I don't have now that we got them--but I'm not complaining, I'm just stating a fact. I'll just have to wake up early enough to be able to do all the things that I do every day.
