Eight Legged Ugliness

I found this picture while perusing the September photo files in my computer and just had to share it...

That day, Tabby and I were picking tomatoes in the garden and she found it rudely sitting in her container. After she had put several tomatoes in it. You should've heard her scream! Actually it's a good thing you didn't; it was very loud!

Does anyone know what kind of spider this is? I think it's some harmless sort of barn-spider but could be wrong.

Spoonerism: Some of us kids are looking out the window at a cat stalking a bird when Tabby suddenly exclaims "Look at all those trees on the bird!"


Self Diagnosis: Tabby comes up to Mom and declares, "Mom, I think I have cabin fever, could you check my temp?"

Polite Garbage Can
Tabby was shocked at how many appliances were in the lunchroom at my Dad's work. "There's 2 refrigerators, 3 coffee pots, 2 dishwashers, a stove...oh, and here's a Thank-you Garbage!!!"
